I can't really say what specific courses you might take to be a clothing designer because it probably differs slightly depending on what design school you end up going to. A better way to phrase your question would be, "What school or schools should I attend to be a clothing designer?" And my answer to that would be SCAD. That is the Savannah College of Art and Design. I believe RISD, Rhode Island Scool of Design also has a program for fashion design. Those are the two biggest and best design schools in the country as far as I know. I went to SCAD myself, so I'm a little biased. But there are many design schools scattered across the country that can teach you what you will need to know.

Mathematics and physics will help you understand the technical aspects of vehicle dynamics and engineering principles. The role of a design portfolio is to showcase a designer's work, skills, and experience to potential clients, employers, or collaborators. A well-crafted portfolio can demonstrate a designer's design thinking, problem-solving abilities, technical skills, and creativity. It can also give insight into a designer's approach to design and the types of projects they enjoy working on. A design portfolio can be an important tool for securing new clients or employment opportunities in the design industry. It can also help a designer build their reputation and establish their personal brand within the design community. Additionally, a portfolio can serve as a reference point for a designer to reflect on their growth and progress over time. A successful design portfolio should be carefully curated and organized to highlight the designer's best work and showcase a variety of design projects. It should also be visually engaging, easy to navigate, and provide context and background information for each project. Overall, a design portfolio should be a clear and concise representation of a designer's skills and experience, tailored to their specific audience and goals.
