If you were specifically instructed as to what to wear, wear that. Otherwise, in general you should probably try to wear something resembling what the store employees doing the same job that you will be doing are wearing.

For most retail positions, it's hard to go too wrong with black work shoes (not sneakers), black slacks (not jeans), and a white collared shirt or blouse. They may give you a uniform shirt in the company color at the orientation, but it's never too early to start making a good impression, and even if they do give you a shirt, your boss is likely to notice that you're the guy who showed up looking professional instead of wearing jeans and a ratty Limp Bizkit t-shirt.
