Typically with artistic careers, the skill is more important than your grades, but you should at least keep a 3.0 so you can earn scholarships to go to school. Try to get 'B's in your classes, preferably high 'A's, but make sure you have researched designing and have great skills (sewing, etc.).

years of education needed beyond high school for fashion design
To become a fashion designer, you typically need at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Many designers also pursue formal education such as a degree in fashion design or related field from a reputable school. Additionally, gaining industry experience through internships or apprenticeships can also be valuable in pursuing a career in fashion design.
Yes i wanted 2 b a fashion designer since i was 6 and now iam 10 (i not in high school yet)
There is no "degree" in high school and to become a fashion designer you really don't need college at all. There are designer schools in the world, but you need a LOT of talent, luck, and really wanting to do it. My guess is about 1-2% of the people who start out to become a fashion designer really make it.
he started studying fashion marketing in high school. later, he designed clothes for lady gaga !
* maths * english * art * textiles * science
Any art class you take in high school will be extremely helpful for fashion design. Drawing, Painting, Crafts and Sculpting are all great. If your school offers a specific fashion course that would be better.
Yeah! there should be grades in high school
