Household distances 50ft
Community distance to a physical therapist refers to the geographical proximity between a patient’s residence and the nearest physical therapy clinic. This distance can impact access to care, with shorter distances generally leading to increased likelihood of attending appointments regularly. Factors such as transportation options and local healthcare resources also play a critical role in determining effective access to physical therapy services. Generally, a distance of 15-30 minutes is often considered acceptable for patients seeking physical therapy.
