Be relaxed. Everyone does much worse when nervous. No matter how badly you need job, you will interview better if you pretend to yourself you don't care.

Don't use slang/profanity or touch on any hot button topics if you make small talk. Think of something non controversial beforehand and think of some good responses to the "tell me about yourself" question which is usually thrown in.

Don't be late-even if they love you you wont get it if you are.

Learn about the company you are applying for, gather facts about it and its trading business. Look through your Resume (CV) and make sure that you know all the points you make and have examples to back up any claims made on application forms/Resumes etc.

When asked if you have questions be ready to have one of two good questions, Do not ask about sickness schemes and time off. The last thing any recruitment person wants to hear is an implication you are not going to be reliable.
