"Qualitative" means a description in terms of shape, color, softness, beauty, smoothness, etc.
It may include a description of whether an object, person, or situation is attractive, rapid,
impressive, awesome, intelligent, ancient, bright, heavy, famous, squishy, slimy, tasty, scary,
funny, serious, stupid, irritating, patriotic, ferocious, trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous,
kind, obedient, cheerful, brave, thrifty, clean, reverent, or rich.
"Quantitative" means a description in terms of numbers, so that a direct comparison of the same property
of different objects is a direct comparison of numbers, and doesn't depend on anybody's opinion.
