The Windows control panel is located in the Start Menu and in settings. A person can also get to the Windows control panel by going into My Computer and scrolling through there.

To get to your control panel on Windows 10 simply hit your Windows key and begin typing "Control Panel". You will notice it appear in a list of returned search results. You will then be able to click it and navigate through.

In Windows Vista, the control panel feature used to verify the firewall settings is the "Windows Firewall" option found in the Control Panel. Users can access it by navigating to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall.
