I have been teaching for 30+ years and every time the district tells us that there are budget problems the first people they cut is art and music. We need these things in education, but many districts do not see this to be the case. That is one of the biggest drawbacks for people teaching these subjects.

the typical music teacher watches tv eats like a music teacher and practically does nothing but play on the laptop. a typical music teacher teaches class and they tell other people what to do. After they finish this, they go to McDonalds and eat a sandwich. And usually a coke or a milk shake. A music teacher teaches classes and gives them a good education
The chances of being a teacher depends on your childhood, middle school and high school grades. If you get good grades, and if you want to be a teacher, there's a good chance you will become a teacher. If you get bad grades, you will be working as a garbage man, so do good in school.
Well you get them for being good at music.
