This question really is interesting cause nowadays more and more women through out the world wishing to work at home so that they can stay at home watching their kids and spend more time with them. I am one of those mommies.

Now, there were hundreds of options that moms can choose. But please bear in mind, that working at home does not mean you can right away have a free time. Every work you do, even the home based one, must taken your time and energy to really runs it well.

But as we all know how we can get too occupied only to prepare ourselves with wardrobe, cosmetic and all, only to go out for work or simply to go out; the good news here, as working home based moms, you can just start to work using pajamas or short or even not taking shower yet.

So back to the question what is the best home based business for moms, the answer will be depend on what sort of skill you have? Some options are these:

1. You can monetize your blog. Make sure you have niche content to share to the rest of the world. For example, if you like cooking you can make blog about cooking and share your secret recipe.

2. Become online reseller. In my country more and more people having their own online shop to sell products from other online shop. These type of business grow easily because they provided dropshipping method, where goods/items sent to the customer using reseller's name.

3. Sell your own product through your own website.

4. Doing Freelance Job.

There are several sites for this, like elance.com, freelance.com and more.

Being a freelancer online you should at least has one skill to offer. Maybe you good in writing, or typing, or doing entry jobs. But gotta say this, your fee will be valued by your skill, so if you have only average skill don't expect to earn big from this.

5. Join affiliate marketing

This by far the best option in my point a view. But there are a lot of knowledge needed to become successful as an affiliate. At least you should know some of the basic of internet marketing. Having your own website sometime isn't necessary. You can always choose other option to promote your affiliate website/products through some of social networking sites.

I would think becoming a nurse is a good job. Since you have kids you have to pay for a lot of stuff, and nurses get paid well. also it is a very easy 2 year collage and its cheep.
