More than likely you will be allowed to wear comfortable clothes such as jeans and a nice shirt. You may be given a lab coat or covering to wear over your clothes.
If the pro bono work you have done relates to or can advance your career, then it should be added to your work experience. You can also list that experience on your resume.

Electricians should wear clothing that is comfortable to move around in. Clothing should not be bulky and no jewelry should be worn. They should wear rubber work boots, a hard hat and goggles as well to protect their eyes.
