They have timely or even surprise inspections though to make sure that all companies and organization are being compliant and are observing the safety in the workplace. Federal OSHA has no requirement for safety meetings, monthly or otherwise. Some State OSHA programs do require periodic safety meetings.
Do a monthly self breast exam so you will be familiar with how it feels in case there are any changes. And always make sure you have your yearly checkup with your doctor.
In the US, most state laws and the NFPA (national fire protection agency) require annual testing. Another view: Actually, TESTING is not required by any rules, annually, for portable fire extinguishers. TESTING is required generally at 12 years from date of manufacture. Frequency of track inspections depends on the individual tracks. Mainline freight tracks are inspected once a week, Tracks used for passenger service are inspected twice a week. Yard tracks are inspected monthly. All per FRA regulations.
