the threat of atomic weapons made japan want to talk peace
If you witnessed the hit and run, call 911 and give them all the information you can. If you observed the effects of a hit and run, but have no information about who did it, call the police and advise them a crime was committed. If it was your property that was hit, ask them to send an officer out and file a police report. Be prepared to estimate damage amount.
If a peace officer reasonably believes a safety risk exists, he/she may disarm you. See related links for frequently asked questions about gun laws in the State of Texas.
negative im a police officer i run every plate i see Added: 10-4 on that!
Contact your local law enforcement. As a general rule, each state will have its own qualification standards and they can vary. Most states run a peace officer or police officer academy(ies), that would be the first place I would check.
This means to run away from after you were stopped.
Without peace no developmental works can run ahead properly.
Yes. There is no other reason for someone to run than because of suspicious reason. However the officer must have some suspicion that the person may have information about the crime he is trying to solve, or that the person is engaged in or has committed an offense.
No probable cause is required for an officer to check the registration status of a vehicle ("run your tag"). If the information received indicates that the license plate is expired, is not on the appropriate car, or does not have insurance in force, the officer can make a traffic stop and issue a citation for the insurance violation or any other offense he sees.
No. Currently a police officer can run your plate through the LEIN (Law Enforcement Information Network) and get several returns. One return is from NCIC which tells if there are any national 'hits' or 'wants' for that plate (i.e. is the plate reported as stolen someplace). It also checks through a statewide file for wanted hits. One of the returns is from the SOS (Secretary of State). This return will give all of the registration information on the vehicle. Registration information includes VIN, year, make, (sometimes model) and style of the car. The SOS return also gives information as to the registered owner of the vehicle and lien-holder (bank) if any. Lastly the SOS return gives an expiration date of the plate. By running a plate, an officer CAN also run the registered owner of the vehicle and see if they have a valid license, who they are, and if they are wanted. Despite all that information, the officer CANNOT determine whether a vehicle is currently insured or not by running a Michigan plate.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Criminal history checks are run through NCIC and are not to be allowed outside law enforcement and must be for an active criminal investigation. You are not even allowed to run criminal histories and give them to your court, they have to run their own.
Ragaragaragaragas are attacking! run, run!
