No, they are not allowed to tell who reported a crime or disturbance to them.

This is for two reasons.
Firstly because of data protection laws, if they told you who called them, they would be violating a law which protects personal details.
Secondly the caller is a witness and therefore is automatically protected by law in case the criminals involved harm the caller or bribe them to not give evidence.
