no it is just stupid/mad people doing the crime
Guns were legal before there WAS a USA, and have always been legal here.
Because they think if there were no guns, there would be no crime. Unfortunately, there has been crime since long before there were guns.
Presumably legal. There are no solid statistics to indicate what the number of illegal guns are - it can only be estimated. Also, there are very few guns that are illegal. This would include only machine guns and destructive devices without proper paperwork. Most guns used in crime are legal to own by normal people, but in possession of what is called a "prohibited person". Felons may not possess guns, but it is the felon status that makes this a crime, not the gun.
Because the violence problem here (or anywhere else, for that matter) is not a result of guns. The violence problem in the world existed long before guns did. We want guns because they have positive uses, and getting rid of guns will not, contrary to popular belief, stop the crime and violence problem.
No, as it is illegal to buy guns without a licence, gun ownership is far lower. You do get gun crime in larger urban areas, but this tends to be confined to the worst areas of the cities.
crime, safety, food
You will have to be more specific. The entire world? The US? Europe? Central or South America? Armed conflict or crime victim? Suicide? The FBI Uniform Crime Report will get you some US data.
No. There was crime before there were guns. I collect guns. My children and grandchildren are hunters and target shooters. I do not commit crimes, nor does my family. People that want to commit crimes will do so, with or without a gun.
Guns are to protect people and not for killing people because killing people for no reason is a crime but killing people to protect your self is not a crime
not as many as the media would have you believe. there are more guns used to prevent crime from happening rather than guns used for crime.
the last guns made in America according to my data was 1975-1976.
There WAS no America in the year 1200.
