A lot of credit card companies will ask if your state is a community state.....if not, they may accept an official death certificate.
Above is simply incorrect in so many ways it's mind boggling...just start with the term is "Community Property" state...and what...if it made a difference, the companies don't know which ones those are...they would need to ask you? (It is true that in a CP state, unless exceptional measures are taken, all things are owned by the "couple"...that's debts and assets...and on the death of one the other has it all...but that's not really too different than other areas where the couple probably had all credit, etc. jointly anyway).
Upon death the "estate" of the decedent continues...it's reason is to resolve the affairs of the decedent, and for all practical purposes, it mean that person lives on. Winding up the affairs means dispossing of any assets and clearing any debts. Assets must be used to pay debts (before say the remaining estate gets distributed to beneficiaries). Debts are not forgiven. The credit card companies expect to get paid in full, and if there isn't enough assets to pay the debts of the decedent (he died "insolvent") generally the unsecured creditors will all take an equal amount of what there is to get. Hence, no one other than creditors can be expected to get anything.
Pay more than your monthly minimum. Credit companies watch that.

There are many companies that help people with bad credit scores refinance their mortgage loan. There are limits to what they can do, and in most cases there is still a minimum FICO score requirement so you can shop around the different companies if you don't meet the minimum requirements for one of them. Some of the companies that are available for this service are the online or e-companies Eloan and LoansStore.
You can do either, but some credit sources place limitations on the minimum amounts / minimum percentages that they will loan.

Yes, and it is not an uncommon practice in all states. There is no law that requires a retailer to accept credit cards either. VISA and Mastercard, however, don't allow merchants to require minimum purchase amounts. It's in their agreement contracts.
