yea they can it would be odd but he should wait till shes older to try n git with her... cuz she is awfully young!!! she still a preteen and hes a teenager... big diffrenence I guess, but you should probably let it go for at least a few years. Her parents probably won't be cool with her 16-year-old boyfriend.

it kind of is but not really. if you like that person then that's fine. there is many married couples that r many years apart. that doesnt mean that you luv each other any less it just means ur different ages. so no it isn't wrong.

It's probably normal, since there's going to be physical attraction and strong hormones at work. There could also be genuine personality attraction at work, of the sort that makes good friends.

Even though there are only 3 years between them, the difference between kids these ages is vast. A 16-year-old girl shouldn't be interested in a boy that young, and if she is, it's not a healthy interest. The younger kid is more emotionally vulnerable, and both teens are still figuring out who they are as sexual beings (and who they are in general).

But there's no reason kids that age can't be platonic friends.

I wouldn't recommend a 12 year old dating. Wait until YOUR 16, then he's 20, then it would be appropriate to date him.
