Can a felon be a cna?

Yes a felon can be a cna. it just depends on what you were charged with. if you charged for abusing someone i doubt anyone would hire you. but if its just a DUI for example yes. i work with a few women that were felons

If you are seeking employment with a private employer, and you are otherwise qualified, you probably can.

However - if you are seeking employment with, or certification by, the government, maybe not. Although private parties do not have access to view expunged records, government is under no such restriction, and your record will be disclosed to any government employer or certifying agency. It may come down to a question of what kind, or how serious a felony you were convicted of.
