No, Oregon has no law requiring one to register their firearms in any way. The purchase of firearms requires a background check that takes 10 min. Other than that, the only registration/license you need is a concealed carry permit if you choose to carry a concealed weapon. You are allowed to open carry in this state as well.
No, and the reason being is that Illinois does not honor any other states carry permit.
You can carry in some other states with a MS permit. Check out this link for more information. http://www.handgunlaw.us/
As a foreign national, no other country is going to permit you to carry a firearms - concealed or not - in their country. Some countries strictly forbid it, while others reserve it strictly for law enforcement and/or government officials.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations do not address the issue of firearms as far as I know. Most trucking companies have policies which forbid it, but it is not federally regulated. The sticky part comes in when you cross state lines where your Permit to carry a concealed weapon may or may not be honored. There is not a "50 state carry permit" It is your responsibility to know all applicable local/state/fed regulations for anywhere you may travel as they pertain to your right to carry and/or use firearms or other weapons.
It depends on where in you are. In the U.S. each state sets its own laws regarding this. In a few states, you can carry without a permit. In other states, you must have a permit for it to be legal. In a couple of states, you cannot carry or get a permit.
No, having a concealed carry permit in one state does not necessarily give you concealed carry privileges in every other state. Most states have reciprocity agreements with some (but not all) other states.
In New York State, black powder pistols are considered firearms and require a permit to possess and carry, just like other firearms. The process for obtaining a permit for a black powder pistol is similar to that for other firearms.
You can carry a gun in Florida. A Florida gun carry permit has restrictions as well as reciprocation with certain other states. See discussion page for more details.
21 for a concealed carry permit, 21 for an NFA tax stamp, 21 for a Federal Firearms license. There is no permit just to own a gun - for title I firearms, you must be 18 to buy a long gun and 21 to buy a handgun, as per federal law.
It depends on where you are. In the U.S. each state sets its own rules. For instance, in Tennessee, there is no such thing as a weapons permit, it's a handgun carry permit, and applies to handguns only. Other than handguns, basically anyone can carry any legal weapon, but to carry a handgun, you must have the handgun permit. On the other hand, Florida issues a "concealed weapons permit" and it covers any legal weapon.
Sorry- Illinois has the most restrictive concealed carry laws in the US. Other than occupations such as police officer or armed security officer, you will not get a permit.
