accused - yes; convicted - no
you are killed with a gun
No, but a FOUND gun should be turned over to authorities, Possible that the gun was stolen, or discarded after being used in a crime. Could be very difficult for you to explain why YOU have a gun used in a crime.
Yes, and you should report to protect yourself if that gun is used in the commission of a crime.
Well, having it stolen is not a crime, but I doubt if he will be working as a security guard much longer. Not reporting the theft of a firearm to the police IS a crime in some jurisdictions.
If police have serial number they can enter it into the national crime index computer.N.C.I.C.
The crime committed when someone threatens another person with a gun is typically considered assault with a deadly weapon.
tom because he was on the crime scene and had the gun in his hand which we find out he did commit the crime even though hes only a boy
Wait for it to get flagged when it is bought/sold or wait for someone to get caught with it by the police. The police typically check the serial number of a gun when it is found or somehow involved in a crime or traffic stop.
The police will come and question you if you have not previously reported to them that the gun has been stolen or that you have sold it (and asked them to alter the registration of ownership). You may be arrested if they are not satisfied with your answers. You will be a suspect for the crime. Why own a gun in the first place!.
Depends on the misdemeanor. If it was a crime of domestic violence, no.
Go to your local police with the sn. If it's been reported as stolen they can tell you.
First off you get a spelling lesson. Then after you get a gun I strongly suggest that you take a CCW class to learn all your responsibility. It is a tremendous amount if responsibility. You are responsible for that gun, if it is stolen and not reported and a crime is committed with it, you are responsible for that crime. From now on you are responsible for everything that happens pertaining to that gun. Learn to handle it, transport it, and store it and most of all how to shoot it.
