Unless you are a convicted felon you retain all rights EXCEPT those restrictions which your parole may place upon you (i.e.- association with known criminals - inability to leave the country - regular check-in with your PO and/or drug testing - etc.) If you are a convicted felon you are subject to all the restrictions and limitations that class of criminal is subject to and you have permanently lost some so-called rights (i.e.- loss of the right to vote - unlawful to ever again own or possess firearms - etc.).
