(in the US) There MAY be some governments that publish this information on-line, but the general answer to this question is no, you cannot.

The budget of most Coroners/Medical Examiners offices does not allow for the staff or the time to reduce their findings to data that can be placed on-line.

There is VERY LIMITED demand for the results of autopsies and those parties who wish the information can receive it by requesting copies from the facility that performed the procedure.

Where do the final coroners reports go once a case is final and how can they be retrieved for study?

If you are speaking of coroners reports associated with a criminal case, the records of the case should all be contained within the court case file. Go to the Clerk Of The Court's office and give the name of the case and date(s) the trial was held and they should be able to retrieve the file for you. You will not be able to remove the case file from the courthouse and you will not be able to remove individual items from the file although you will be able to take notes from what is there.
