So, if you don't mind let me give you some tips on what to look out for. Don't be startled but your father should address the child support with regards to the fees that he will incur while he is doing his time. He can write a letter to the courts requesting that interest, if its accumulating interest, and fees be temporarily frozen. This will show accountability. Once he is out and faces adversity from unemployment and due to the recent recession he could calendar a court date to see the judge and request a hardship program till he's able to make adequate payments.
