They did this to me then sent package back one time, but the wacked out female clerk that took it was kind of by the book (judging from our conversation) and actually warned me "if not media mail, will be returned to sender (me)". It took about 2 weeks for package to be delivered back to me. I think it's a postal rule, they can check any package, but I'm not sure. Hope this helps!
