There's really no solid answer to that.

Some race cars (like F1, indy cars) simply can't be driven on regular roads because they're set up too low, they need a smoother surface.

Then there are the dedicated dragsters, who can't corner at speed, and whose engines don't like anything but short pulls anyway.

But then there are some race cars (NASCAR-type) which could be driven on roads, but are banned from it due to not complying with the rules and regulations enforced onr road-going vehicles, such as safety equipment and lights.
