No, you can't have it "removed," but MAY be able to get it sealed by expungement.

If it was a state felony conviction, and you qualify under that state's laws, you may apply for expungement of THAT particular offense.

Note: You must apply to the state in which you were convicted - if you have moved in the meantime, your new state of residence has no jurisdiction to grant it to you.

Also: if it was a federal crime you were convicted of, you will NOT be able to have it expunged
