Doctor's evaluations , witness testimony etc. You can also start documenting any odd behaviors, like suicidal ideations, spoken suicidal thoughts, periods of the person being confused , or disoriented , like not knowing where they are , what day it is etc. Also not being able to handle their personal affairs, being dangerous drivers, abusive to family or friends .Even animal hoarding or other anti-social behaviors, like having a house unfit for human habitation. Not being able to pay their bills, or just handing money out to strangers, being duped or scammed.
