WHAT kind of offense or charge was originally made?
If it was a felony offense and it was dismissed without prejudice it means that it COULD be re-filed and brought again. With that kind of inconclusive circumstance hanging over you, I doubt the state would issue you a license
The mortgage company did not go to their own court date and the foreclosure was dismissed. They will be able to refile it if it was without prejudice.
No, not without refiling another "13".
It depends on where you are. In the U.S. you can own a gun in any state without a permit, except that the state of Illinois requires an ID to purchase a gun.
No.
To "retry" a case that has been dismissed with prejudice you would have to take an appeal of the action since it has already been tried and the dismissal is not a procedural dismissal. Aside from a direct appeal, a party can ask the trial court to reconsider its decision, reverse its own order and reinstate the action. A party can make a motion for a new trial. A party can make a motion to be relieved from its effects for the various reasons set forth in the court rules as may apply. Common reasons for being relieved of an effect of an order are that the order was entered as a result of mistake, inadvertence, surprise, excusable neglect, fraud or any other reason that the interests of justice would require the order be set aside.
In general, convictions, not charges, affect gun ownership. However, you should discuss this with an attorney in YOUR state,
Yes. You can have a loaded gun in your own house or on your own probably basically anywhere in the U.S.
Without getting into a bunch of specifics, generally speaking, no. A person who cannot legally own a gun also cannot legally possess it. Having it at a range shooting it would be considered possessing it.
Depends on the laws where you live. We get questions from several nations, no way to answer without knowing.
It is not illegal. There is no permit required to own a firearm.
No if the gun is not registered in your name , no you can not own a gun. if you do not have license to own a gun you can not have it either
No you do not have to be a gun expert to own a gun. As long as you are of legal age to own a firearm and you do not have any felony offenses on your record, you can own a gun.
