People can not be forced to join the military. Joining the military requires you as an individual to sign a contract stating that you are joining under your own free will. Signing your contract is also done at a processing center known as MEPS. Your parents would not be with you at this time and it would be the perfect opportunity for you to inform one of the enlisted members.
Go talk to your nearest Air Force recruiter and they will get the process started for you. Also, speak to your parents before you enlist. Explain your plan to them and see what they have to say.

If you can meet the qualifications for the school after you get out of the Air Force you can go to it. Some schools have programs for Veterans and their families but you still have to meet their standards.
