If you are asking about your ability find a job with an active bench warrant hanging over your head - IF the warrant was entered into the crime computer system AND if your employer wants a background check, it WILL show up.
If an employer does a thorough background on the people it hires, it is quite possible that, if the warrant is on file under your name, they will find oout about it.
This will depend on the background check that is performed by your employer. And if your employer does find out that there is an outstanding warrant then he can call the police and have you picked up. In many states if he does not do this, he could be charged with hindering justice or with harboring a fugitive.
Because it sits on a bench, not on the floor.
They might, they'll go wherever they think they can find you.
If the job you are applying for does a check it will show up. I would pay that ticket and get it cleared up if you want the job. Get that "puppy" taken care of.

It's my guess that it would depend on what kind of crime you did.Child support? Then it's going to be nationwide. If you get pulled over for speeding, etc, they will run your license. It will come up that you have bench warrant for cs in whatever state. They can force a return to that state, where either you pay or you sit in jail for a set amount of time, then they release you, you get a cleared record and you actually go out find a job. If you don't have one, get one and pay your child support. If you are neglecting to pay to support your children, you're an idiot anyways, which is why you now have a bench warrant. Good luck.Added: The simple answer is addressed in the first sentence of the above answer. The fact is that you won't know unless/until you get arrested. Much like Murphy's Law, these things have the habit of coming back to bite you at the worst possible time and at the worst possible moment. Better you should just face the music and get the difficulty over with.
