According to Jonathan Pincus, Chief of Neurology at Veterens Adm. Hospital, Washington, DC, Georgetown University, after examining killer Ted Bundy he found Bundy's brain function normal but that Bundy had symptoms that suggested manic depression and grotesque sexual abuse.

It was not noted if the onset of Bundy's depression was lifelong or had come after incarceration.
