Yes, in most states, a moped does require a license to operate.
I do not know what state you are in, but in Texas no license is required so long as the moped/scooter is 50cc or less. I'm pretty sure most states follow similar guidelines.
Personnally, I donn't know but you can try www.dmv.org Indeed you do. As in most states, a moped is any vehicle up to 50cc. Any larger and you have a scooter. In SC, you do not need a moped license if you have any other type of license, regardless of it's status. A moped is known as a liquor-cycle because it is popular with the DUI crowd. You can also apply for a moped operators license. A moped cannot be operated on a street with a speed limit above 35 mph. SC defines a moped as a "low speed vehicle". In order to ride a scooter, you must possess a Class M motorcycle license. Scooters can reach speeds in excess of 65 mph, and SC makes no real distinction between a scooter and a motorcycle. A scooter is not a "low speed vehicle", and any motor vehicle license you have must be in force - that is to say, you cannot ride a scooter with a suspended car license. In either case, your ride must be insured and registered, and you must have a copy of your license in your possession while riding. Scooters require license plates, mopeds do not. Check here for specific laws regarding scooters and moped: http://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t56c002.htm http://www.dmv.org/sc-south-carolina/other-types.php
I know of no automobile that does not require a license to operate on public streets and roads.
Good question I would like to know. Thanks
yes you can but you have to have a chauffeurs chauffeur's or operator's license but if you don't have these and you are 15 years of age you may apply for a moped license at secretary of state branch office.... BUT THIS IS IN MICHIGAN i don't know about any other state.
I Belive So, If you are starting your Own Small business in California I know that you need a Sellers permit, but yes you need a Business License

You'll need to find out if your state requires a license for in home daycare businesses plus how many children you're allowed to provide care for,you also need to know if it requires any changes or additions be made to your home, states have different guidelines and regulations on these things, so know what yours requires before you invest in that great backyard playhouse you found for sale on the Internet.
I know here in CA you would need to go back for a degree in counseling in a grad program because it requires a license and internship. Check out what your state requires.
Sorry to sound so simplistic. . . however . . . if you know that you've simply misplaced it temporarily or that you when away for the weekend and left it at home - DON'T DRIVE. You are not supposed to operate a vehicle without the license IN YOUR POSSESSION.
Depends on which state you live in. Some require a valid drivers license while others offer a "moped only" license. However, in most states, you do not need a motorcycle endorsement to ride scooters that are under 50cc (note for those no in the know: most 50cc scooters are actually under 50cc). You'll need to check with your states DMV or Dept of Revenue.
