You'll need to see if your county has a code concerning that. We have a pool, but live in the city and our city had a code that was more stringent than the state code. Keep in mind liability. If someone or something (pet) drowns in your pool and you don't have it secured you could face some serious financial problems.
A fence around the pool
It has to be six (6) feet with a locked gate. peace out
Yes, Suffolk County requires that in-ground pools be enclosed by a fence to ensure safety. The fence must be at least four feet high and have a self-closing, self-latching gate. These regulations are in place to prevent accidental drownings and to restrict access to the pool area. It's important to check local ordinances for any additional requirements or exceptions.
Pool Fencing LawsLaws pertaining to the fencing of a pool area differ depending upon the type of pool you have and which county you live in. Certain cities and towns have additional requirements for pools in their jurisdictions. However, all pools---whether above or below ground---need to be fenced in with a proper latching system. An in-ground pool must have a fence around every side. Most ordinances require the fence to be at least six feet high. If your pool is above ground, you have two options. Option one is to have a ladder that detaches from the pool platform when not in use. Option two is to have a fence at least six feet high around the ladder leading to the platform.

In Amarillo Texas it is a law that all above ground swimming pools have a fence enclosure around them. This will protect children from gaining access to the pool and drowning. Pools must also be within a certain distance of a property line.

Whether or not you are legally required to have a fence is an issue that depends on your local laws and ordinances. You can contact your county or town building department for more insight on your county or town's laws. You may need a fence for liability purposes, though. Even if you are not legally required to put up a fence, a pool is a huge legal liability. Just imagine the legal bills if a small child got hurt or died in your pool. I would discuss a possible liability insurance policy with my insurance agent.
You have to call your local health dept. to find out what your particular city codes require. I do not think that you can attach a fence to the above ground pool.
The best method for removing a fence post using a fence post remover is to first dig around the post to expose its base, then attach the fence post remover to the post and use leverage to pull it out of the ground.
