Yes, in Indiana, you must have a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license to legally operate a motorcycle. This endorsement is obtained after passing a written test and a skills test or completing an approved motorcycle safety course. Riding without the proper endorsement can result in fines and other legal penalties. Always check for the latest regulations, as laws may change.

It is generally not safe for a child to ride a bike without adult supervision, as they may not have the experience or judgment to handle potential dangers on their own.
In Indiana, you are required to have a valid motorcycle endorsement or a motorcycle learner's permit to operate a moped with an engine size of 100cc or higher. However, if the moped is 49cc or smaller, you can legally ride it without a motorcycle license. It's important to check local regulations as they may vary, and ensure you comply with safety requirements such as wearing a helmet.

Without having the exact Code of Federal Regulation in front of me, I believe if it is NOT an open bow boat with seats, a child under 16 may not ride forward. Again, I am 90% sure this is correct.
I think it has to do with Height and Weight rather than age
