I assume you mean "DUI"
I don't know all the circumstances of the case, but police often charge people with false charges for a variety of reasons. Maybe the police officer thought you were drunk and wanted to keep you from driving home.
There is a law now that says if you had control of the keys, and you are drunk, you can be charged with driving the vehicle.
The law is unconstitutional, it is like saying that if you had control of the lock box that contained the gun you must be the one who fired it, therefore you can be charged with discharging, or firing that gun.
Your best bet is to have a jury trial, If you loose, your second best bet is to take the case into the appellate court and state a constitutional question or argument.
Remember, all that is necessary for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing.....

Yes, if driving is restricted as a parole stipulation, or the PO has reasonable grounds for doing so. Typically, driving restrictions are the result of a DUI/OWI/OUIL conviction, so it would follow that driving restrictions would be instituted.
According to SOWPODS (the combination of Scrabble dictionaries used around the world) there are 3 words with the pattern -OUIL--. That is, seven letter words with 2nd letter O and 3rd letter U and 4th letter I and 5th letter L. In alphabetical order, they are: bouilli mouille rouille
AnswerIn Michigan alcohol violations, such as driving under the influence or operated under the influence of liquor, remains on your record for a minimum of 10 years and then at that point it is no longer a part of the record. As for insurance rates, typically they will be affected for at least 5 years after you have been convicted of a DUI/OUIL. For the first three years you will likely be placed on a "high-risk" non-standard type policy.
