The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believes that all people are beloved children of God and welcomes all people who are willing to make a personal commitment to follow the commandments of God. Since murder is against God's commandments, the Church does not tolerate murderers. Being convicted of murder usually results in the individual's excommunication from the church. They may only be welcomed back by re-baptism if they are found innocent and/or have served their legally required sentence, and this only after careful consideration by Church leaders. However, the Church does do it's best to support members and former members who are in prison, and offersworship services and counseling/support services at many prisons, regardless of the person's crimes.

As the Jodi Arias trial is ongoing as of this answer, it is unknown whether her name is still on the official records of the Church.
