Stoning was quite literally where people would be stripped and have stones thrown at them until they were dead. The method was changed later to be as below. (Though this method of execution appears a bit confused, as it was expected that most would not die by stoning and would be hanged afterwards.)
Answer:
The above is wrong. Stoning was never changed. As the Talmud explains (Sanhedrin 45a), it consisted of dropping the person off a building. If he didn't die, one large stone was dropped on him. That's it. The person was then hanged for a few hours after they died, as commanded explicitly (Deuteronomy 21:22).
Currently, Jews are not facing a genocide.
romans used to kill people by stoning- which is throwing rocks at someone until they die. and crucifixion- which is nailing someone to a cross until they bleed to death.

The New Covenant took effect the same minute that Jesus Christ died. The New Covenant erased the Death Penalty either by stoning or any other method invented by man. The New Covenant is based on Mercy and Forgiveness and 2nd Chances. Unfortunately 95% of the Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah and son of God by asking the Roman Empire to kill Jesus. The Jews have until this day of the 21st Century innocent blood in their hands for asking the Romans to kill Jesus so the Jews are not God's people at all.
