Some effective teaching evaluation questions to assess the quality of instruction in a classroom setting include: How clear and organized is the teacher's presentation of material? To what extent does the teacher engage students in the learning process? How effectively does the teacher provide feedback and support to students? Are the learning objectives and expectations clearly communicated by the teacher? How well does the teacher manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment? How diverse and engaging are the instructional methods used by the teacher? To what extent does the teacher demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter? How well does the teacher adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners? How effectively does the teacher assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly? Overall, how satisfied are you with the quality of instruction provided by the teacher?
A teacher exchange program exposes a teacher to the teaching methods and students of other countries. After such exchange, the teacher will (hopefully) know more about students from other countries (such as special practices, school structure and organisation, etc). This way, if a student from such country is in the teacher's class, he/she can help the student adapt more quickly. The teacher can also adapt more quickly if he/she goes to teach at a school in such country. This would develop a teacher as a global teacher.
Other-directed character refers to a personality trait characterized by a strong focus on external approval and social norms rather than internal values or beliefs. Individuals with this trait often seek validation from others and adapt their behavior to fit in with social expectations. This concept, popularized by sociologist David Riesman in his book "The Lonely Crowd," contrasts with inner-directed individuals who rely more on personal convictions. Overall, other-directed individuals prioritize relationships and social acceptance in their decision-making and self-concept.
