I've had friends who had Boyfriends/Girlfriends when they were 9 but the relationship only lasted a couple days at the most. you cant. their too too young. _________________ Oh, to be 9 again. Here's your best approach. Enjoy all of your friends and don't exclude anyone. Is it possible that a boy and girl will want to have a special friendship at age 9? Of course it is. Nothing could be better; you are learning how to interact with people of all ages, and people your own age are especially interesting to you. Have special friendships-- go for it and enjoy them! But don't buy into the nutty message that kids sometimes get from media, overly 'progressive' adults, and slick ad campaigns. There is nothing wrong with being 9 years old, and you don't have to be a smaller version of adults living in the fast lane. You're learning about friendship and relationships in general-- it's a little soon for apartment sharing, engagements and pre-nup arrangements. In other words, don't get into playing junior 'mom and dad', don't try duplicating what your older brothers/sisters are doing. There's time enough for all that. Find out what your friend likes, and enjoy that activity with your friend along with others. Just enjoy being 9 year old kids! You have no idea what you've got-- don't mess it up by trying to jump the gun. And frankly, I get a good feeling about your life and how it is playing out. Respect yourself and your friends; cooperate, don't force. You're in for a good life!

Usually that young it's next to impossible to keep a boyfriend. Besides you'll probably meet so many new, more mature guys in the future anyway.
