Genetic engineering, particularly through techniques like DNA profiling, has revolutionized criminal justice by allowing for accurate identification of suspects and victims. This technology enables forensic scientists to analyze biological evidence, such as blood or hair, linking individuals to crime scenes with high precision. Additionally, it has aided in exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals by providing definitive proof of innocence. Overall, genetic engineering enhances investigative efficiency and strengthens the integrity of the justice system.
a).altering pidegrees b).curing down syndrome c).eliminating infant deaths d).producing medicine Well it has to be d). producing medicine, because genetic engeniring has already helped people for a while. for mant reasons.
Genetic engineering when used on microorganisms help in the creation of new pharmaceuticals which cannot be made in any other way.Genetic engineering helps in the process of bioremediation which is the process of cleaning up waste and pollution with the help of living organisms.Genetic engineering has helped lower the overall usage of herbicide and pesticide.Genetic engineering has helped with the production of vaccines and other drugs in plants.Genetic engineering has helped produce quicker and more predictable way of generating new cultivars. Further, the cultivar properties are better known today than it was ever known before.Today, genetic engineering can produce sustainable agriculture.Genetic engineering has produced very useful genetically modified breeds which can tolerate factory farming without any suffering. In humans, genetic engineering is used to treat genetic disorders and cancer. It also helps in supplying new body parts.Although, this has not been done today, genetic engineering has the potential of creating new types of human beings with many advantageous traits.

DNA is the genetic makeup of every human. It is VERY similar, but still different. It is original and unique to every person, therefore it can be used to identify someone. If i were to leave a strand of my hair (a DNA sample) someone could find out who i was through the strand of hair i left behind. It is useful in criminal justice because it can be used to identify a person in a crime. or to prove that a person was at a crime scene :) Hope this helped!
Cesare Beccaria is known for his influential work "On Crimes and Punishments," where he advocated for fair and rational criminal justice practices, including the idea of proportionate punishment to fit the crime committed. His ideas helped shape modern criminal law and emphasized the need to prioritize the rights and well-being of individuals within the justice system. Beccaria's work also contributed to the development of the concept of deterrence in criminal justice.
Yes, the Innocence Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals through DNA testing and advocating for criminal justice reform. They have helped to secure the release of many individuals who were imprisoned for crimes they did not commit, highlighting flaws in the criminal justice system and contributing to changes in policies and procedures.
The staple crop that developed through genetic engineering and significantly benefited the mound builders is a variety of maize (corn). Genetic modifications improved its yield, resilience, and nutritional value, allowing for more efficient cultivation. This enhancement enabled the mound builders to support larger populations and establish complex societies, as surplus food facilitated trade and social stratification. The prosperity derived from this crop played a crucial role in their cultural and architectural achievements.
