Whether or not a person who impersonates a police officer will serve time in jail, depends on the state and the circumstances of the impersonation. For example, a person who dresses up like a police officer for whatever reason, probably won't get much if any jail time. However, if that person not only dresses like a police officer, but attempts to act like one by stopping cars, making arrests, etc., that person will undoubtedly be dealt with harshly.
They can be in jail just as long as the actual theif
Impersonating an officer is normally a felony. You'll have to check your state's statutes for maximum and any mandatory minimum sentences. As with any crime, the sentence ultimately depends on the facts and circumstances, the person's history, and many other factors.
They are sentenced
you would be in jail for about 3-4 weeks if you bully
5 years
as long as its someone in or near the government
You COULD be remanded to jail for the balance of your sentence.
45 days
That depends on how bad/serious the crime was.
I don't know who Lindsey Logan is. Did she kill someone?
A felony is generally punishable by more than a year in jail. Sentencing would depend alot on the defendant's criminal history.
It depends. if u do a crime with that persons identity then yes it is. but if ur playing or sumthin than its not. WHOEVER WROTE THE ABOVE RESPONSE HAS ISSUES... impersonating someone is known as identify theft, its fraud and its a crime! punishments in most countries can be upwards of mandatory 3yrs imprisonment with someone being given 2 yrs jail in Melbourne not to long ago for simply loggin onto his girlfriends fb and impersonating her to find out if she slept with some...
