How many types of blue aliens are there?

we are not yet sure. if aliens do exist, we will begin counting. we promise to let modern society know of this number when we get back from our space voyage. thank you, and good-night. no really, if there really were aliens, there would probably be tons of different species.. but unless the government is hiding it from us, we just dont know.

If one assumes they exist at all, one could also assume that, since the universe is infinite (or very nearly), the number of alien species could also be nearly infinite.

1. NASA's Apollo 11 astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell insists we are being visited and have been for some time. There are claims out there that there are over 44 different kinds of species currently involved with Earth.

2. This is not believed by those who base their beliefs on actual evidence. Claims are worth the evidence supporting them. An unsupported opinion from Dr. Mitchell is worth precisely as much as any other unsupported opinion.

So far, the only evidence is unsupported anecdotes. Since extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, this simply is of no value. There is no known case of anyone plopping a living or dead alien or piece of alien tech on a table in front of a scientist, and this is the level of proof it would take. It goes without saying there is no reason to think there is a cover-up of any kind.

there are twi'leks and pantorans from Star Wars, na'vi from james cameron's avatar, and there are bolians and andorians from Star Trek. those are the only sci fi franchises i know. if anyone knows of any others please add them in.
