This question is so old and dated. I wish I could remove it from this site. Not to mention that the writer assumes women can't become famous for other reasons besides violence.

The question is old and dated yes, but don't assume it isn't for a good reason this person would like this information. Perhaps for researching violence of women upon men and vice versa. Assumptions work both ways, perhaps a little understanding and less scrutiny of the writers question is a more humble approach. What you know someone else may be younger and not know, it's called learning about the past to help understand the future. We all do not know everything that's why questions are asked of others to teach not to criticize.

Yes, I totally agree, there are no stupid questions on WikiAnswers or anywhere else. We learn from all questions. The first answerer probably didn't think about that when they answered the question.
