There is a disparity in sentencing of embezzlement cases. A review of Maine and Vermont alone shows the following examples. One woman that netted 190,000 got 9 months and one that took 25,000 got a suspended sentence. During the same time period a woman that took almost 300,000 got 18 months. Guess it depends on the DA and if it is promotion or raise time.
