Then they can't arrest you, since you clearly don't have all the weed, which under the law is the quantity required for the offence to be considered criminal. As long as you are not carrying all the weed, the law simply considers you an annoyance and a potential threat to local snack food supplies. Because cops notoriously love their sweet, fatty snack food, they will most likely be hesitant to let you go, but you must insist that you know your rights and will not be held illegally. Assure them that you are not planning to buy up all the little powdered donuts from the 7-11 and they should release you in short order.
