If the bill does not receive sponsorship by any members of the house, however, it will die. To be a member of the house, it requires being voting in by your district and that its own requirements: The Constitution establishes the qualifications for members of the House of Representatives and Senate. A Representative must be 25 years of age a citizen of the United States for at least seven years and a legal resident of the state which elects him.
