Nevada as all other states do not allow a minor child to choose which parent they want to live with. The judge may or may not speak with the child to determine how he or she feels about certain matters, such as school neighborhood, friends, etc. Judges always base custodial decisions on what is in the child's best interest and nothing else.

There are two issues here.

Any child who is old enough to distinguish between people can "decide" who the child wants to live with.

However, this decision has no legal impact until the child becomes 18, at which point it can live with anyone willing to have it do so.

A child under 18 could petition the court to modify the custody decree, and in general family courts do take the child's desires into account, but are not necessarily bound by them; there's no law anywhere that I'm aware of that says something along the lines of "13 year olds get to decide which parent to live with and the judge just has to deal with it", if that's what you were hoping for.

18 but the court will listen to the child what he/she wishes but is in no way obligated to follow the child's wish.

What age can a child choose which parent they want to live with according to British law?

In the UK, there's no set age when a child can choose which parent to live with. The court will consider a child's wishes, but the final decision is based on the child's best interests. Generally, older children's views are given more weight during legal proceedings.
