If you have been ordered to pay child support, you are going to have to pay it. If you are independently wealthy or have some other source of income, employment may not be necessary. But if you have no other way of paying the child support, then you are going to need to work.

I think that you need a laywer b/c you deserve so much better then that and your ex probaly won't be Avery good father or idol to your child. you can put him throgh hell in order to get your childsupport if you have a laywer

Child support you pay is not usually tax deductible; you would need the situation to fulfill all requirements of the child being a dependent--living with you, paying for more than half of the child's costs and so on.
