But, there are other things that could lead to an arrest in a situation such as this, including: * Alcohol in a vehicle occupied only by minors * Open containers of alcohol in the vehicle * Illegal drugs in the vehicle * Illegal weapons in the vehicle * If the driver is intoxicated You didn't state what the driver was pulled over for, so assuming none of the above applies (nor any other illegal activities), then no, there would be no reason for an arrest.
Yes you absolutely can still be covered if your in a situation where you get pulled over by a cop and are in a friend's vehicle. All you need is permission and reasonable belief from the insured.
