Anything is possible if he can find an attorney who will take his case to Appeals Court. But usually - no - you can't He has already been sentenced for that crime and begun serving his penalty. Probation WAS his sentence/penalty. After you plead AND begin your sentence you can't go back later and decide you didn't like the sentence you got.
In south Africa when the accused pleads guilty the prosecutor can accept or reject the plea of guilty. It can happen that he has in his docket facts which put the offence in a much more serious light than the accuse admitted in his answers. This may cast doubt upon his guilt. At this stage the prosecutor may alter a plea of guilty to that of not guilt. This alteration can place after conviction, but not after sentence. Therefore the prosecutor may take back a plea if he had already accepted ,but not after sentence.

Extremly unfair, I done the Salem witch trials in English last year, and they tested for witches mainly due to what people said. If you had an enemy, and said, yeah shes a witch, i saw her spirit come into my room last night, they wouldn't take the opinion from the person, they had to either admit to being a witch or not. If they pleaded guilty, they lived, and were purified by the church, and if they pleaded innocent (truthful or not) they were excecuted. I know that at some point they also dunk them into water, and if they survived, they were a witch, if not, they werent. Its all completely unfair and cruel what they did >.<

There is great power with words and once they are spoken you cannot take them back. When we speak badly about someone we feel guilty because who know we can hurt someoneÕs feeling. TO alleviate the guilt forgive yourself and donÕt do it again, if they heard you apologize.
