yes
If you are 18 you are no longer a minor and can choose to live with either parent (or neither).
They can express that choice to the court.
the ages to chose what parent to live with is 18 and older. but really it should be 12 and older and the older sibling should be able to choose for the younger but the court thinks the kids with the ages between 12-16 are to young to understand but that is not true.
you can either be happy about it (i highly doubt it), or you can choose which parent to live with, or live with a different relative
once emancipated
In general, living arrangements typically do not affect the rights of siblings when a parent dies. The distribution of assets and inheritance is usually determined by the parent's will or state laws, regardless of where the siblings live. Each sibling is entitled to their fair share of the estate according to these established guidelines. Consulting with a probate lawyer can provide specific advice based on the individual circumstances.
i would have to say yes. If you obtain parental consent then yes. If your parent(s) are deceased, then you would have to settle that in court with a custody hearing.
The Aunt can be named a guardian, however this dos not prevent a custody challenge by the other parent.
In Mexico a minor can choose which parent to live with at the age of 14.
yep, if you are over 12 then you can choose what parent to live with
You're not legally a child at 18... You can do whatever the hell you want. Yet I'm not sure that either parent legally has to let you live with them.
well I think that when you turn 13 you can choose what parent you want to live with. But that's just my opinon.
